Telangana readies for Kharif paddy procurement

Telangana's Civil Supplies Department is enhancing preparations for the Kharif 2026-27 paddy procurement season, anticipating approximately 65 lakh metric tonnes of arrivals. Procurement operations are slated to begin in the first week of October. A three-pronged 'SHT' strategy focusing on storage, handling, and transport is being implemented to ensure sufficient storage capacity, smooth operations, and timely movement of stocks, preventing leakages and logistical delays for farmers.

तेलंगाना का सिविल सप्लाईज़ डिपार्टमेंट खरीफ 2026-27 धान खरीद सीज़न के लिए अपनी तैयारीज़ मज़बूत कर रहा है। उम्मीद है कि करीब 65 लाख मीट्रिक टन धान आएगा। खरीद का काम अक्टूबर के पहले हफ़्ते से शुरू होगा। 'SHT' यानी स्टोरेज, हैंडलिंग और ट्रांसपोर्ट की एक खास रणनीति अपनाई जा रही है। इससे किसानों को समय पर भुगतान मिलेगा और धान की लीकेज या देरी से बचने में मदद मिलेगी।
