This directive follows a recent fire incident on an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Chennai, where the power bank caught fire mid-air. The regulator has instructed airlines to prevent passengers from carrying this specific model in any baggage or as cargo. The IndiGo flight was safely diverted to Hyderabad, and while no injuries were reported, the aircraft was grounded for checks.
