Following student protests in Ranchi, Devendra Nath Mahto, a 34-year-old student leader, has launched the Bharti Vyavastha Sudhar Yatra, or Recruitment System Reform Journey. This statewide campaign began from Nemra village in Ramgarh district, the birthplace of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren. Mahto previously led a 16-day hunger strike demanding accountability and reforms in the examination system. The yatra signifies his continued efforts to address systemic issues within recruitment processes across the state.
