An AI-powered traffic camera in Bengaluru mistakenly issued a Rs 500 fine to a man for carrying a guitar on his back, mistaking it for a helmetless pillion rider. Souvik Dutta was riding his wife's scooter when the camera on the Outer Ring Road captured the violation. The challan stated he was penalized for "pillion not wearing protective head gear." Dutta appealed the fine on social media, questioning the AI system's accuracy.
