Karnataka FDA Seizes Expired Ingredients at Two Bengaluru Ice Cream Units

FDA has intensified its food safety drive, inspecting 45 ice cream units across the state. During inspections on Thursday, expired ingredients were found at two units in Bengaluru, specifically at Savara Ice Cream Café and M N Enterprises. Officials seized various expired food products, including biscuits, milk, and khoa. Unhygienic conditions were also noted at a facility in Raichur, and labelling deficiencies were found in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

FDA ने राज्य भर में 45 आइसक्रीम यूनिट्स का निरीक्षण करके फूड सेफ्टी ड्राइव तेज कर दी है। गुरुवार को निरीक्षण के दौरान, बेंगलुरु में दो यूनिट्स, विशेष रूप से Savara Ice Cream Café और M N Enterprises में एक्सपायर्ड इंग्रेडिएंट्स पाए गए। अधिकारियों ने बिस्कुट, दूध और खोया सहित विभिन्न एक्सपायर्ड खाद्य उत्पादों को ज़ब्त किया। रायचूर में एक सुविधा में अस्वास्थ्यकर स्थितियां भी देखी गईं, और बेंगलुरु और मैसूरु में लेबलिंग की कमियां पाई गईं।
