ISIS-K Member Gets 20 Years For Kabul Bombing

An ISIS-K affiliate member, Mohammad Sharifullah, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for providing material support to the terrorist organization. The group claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport in 2021, which killed 13 U.S. service members and approximately 160 Afghans. Jurors convicted Sharifullah of aiding ISIS-K but could not unanimously agree on his direct responsibility for the airport bombing.
