Pune Night Temperatures Plummet to 17.3°C Amid Clear Skies

Times of India · environment

Night temperatures in Pune have significantly dropped, with Shivajinagar recording a minimum of 18.4°C on Thursday and 18.9°C on Friday. NDA registered an even lower temperature of 17.3°C on Friday. This cooling trend follows a period earlier in October when minimum temperatures consistently stayed above 21°C. Clear skies and reduced humidity are attributed to the drop, facilitating radiative cooling. However, temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the coming days due to moisture from the Bay of Bengal.
