Rachel DeMita has admitted she underestimated the Golden State Valkyries, who have reached the 2026 WNBA Finals in just their second season. DeMita had previously questioned their talent but has changed her view after they swept the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals. The expansion team made history in 2025 by reaching the playoffs in their debut season.
