The Hindu · india

Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition, urged protesting students in New Delhi to stand up for their beliefs without fear, even amidst state crackdowns like detentions and internet shutdowns. He accused Prime Minister Modi of silencing dissent and stated that the Prime Minister's "game is over." Gandhi also alleged that the Centre is attacking Tamil culture and language through policies like NEET and the three-language formula, withholding funds and reducing Tamil-medium MBBS seats. He assured students that the opposition stands with them against those he claims are destroying democracy.
