Iran's Security Chief Meets Putin, Discusses Regional Security and Gas Pipeline

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Iran's top security official Mohsen Rezaei at the Kremlin. Rezaei delivered a message from Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei to Putin. Discussions covered important regional issues, post-war arrangements, and regional security. They also focused on constructing a gas pipeline from Russia to Iran to address gas shortages and facilitate Russian gas sales to neighboring countries. Iran stated seven conditions must be met by the US before any negotiations or opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने क्रेमलिन में ईरान के शीर्ष सुरक्षा अधिकारी मोहसेन रेज़ाई से मुलाकात की। रेज़ाई ने ईरान के सुप्रीम लीडर आयतुल्लाह मोअज्तबा ख़ामेनेई की ओर से पुतिन को एक संदेश दिया। बातचीत में अहम क्षेत्रीय मुद्दे, युद्ध के बाद की व्यवस्थाएं और क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा पर चर्चा हुई। उन्होंने गैस की कमी को दूर करने और पड़ोसी देशों को रूसी गैस की बिक्री को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए रूस से ईरान तक गैस पाइपलाइन के निर्माण पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित किया। ईरान ने कहा कि अमेरिका द्वारा सात शर्तों को पूरा करने के बाद ही कोई बातचीत या होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य को खोला जाएगा।
