अमरोहा की 50 से ज़्यादा ग्राम पंचायतों में जन्म और मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन आईडी अमान्य हो गई हैं। इससे सुरक्षा में सेंध लगने की चिंता बढ़ गई है। यह मामला तोफपुर ग्राम पंचायत की एक आईडी से 498 फर्जी जन्म प्रमाण पत्र बनाने के आरोप के बाद सामने आया है। पंचायत सचिवों ने बताया कि उनकी रजिस्ट्रेशन आईडी एक्सेस होने से पहले उन्हें वन-टाइम पासवर्ड मिले थे, जिससे ज़रूरी रजिस्ट्रेशन का काम रुक गया है। अधिकारी जांच कर रहे हैं कि आईडी से छेड़छाड़ हुई थी या इन आईडी से फर्जी सर्टिफिकेट जारी किए गए थे।
