Sanitation workers in Dhanbad will operate in two shifts across all 55 wards of the Municipal Corporation during the upcoming festive season, starting with Durga Puja. This measure aims to ensure prompt waste removal and maintain city hygiene amidst expected large crowds at puja pandals and public places. Municipal Commissioner Ashish Gangwar stated that special arrangements include regular cleaning around pandals and in crowded areas, along with cleaning water bodies. The civic body will provide sufficient manpower and infrastructure to support these enhanced cleaning operations.
