Cubbon Park Land Row: Coffee Shop Allegations Surface

The Cubbon Park and Lalbagh Walkers’ Association has alleged that a parcel of land adjacent to the Cubbon Park Metro station is being earmarked for a commercial coffee shop. However, the Karnataka Department of Horticulture stated that the land belongs to the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). An official clarified that the department has not allotted any land for construction, and the BMRCL will decide on the land's use.
