ED Raids 9 Odisha Locations in Sub-Inspector Recruitment Scam Probe

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at nine locations across Odisha on Friday as part of a money laundering investigation into the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector recruitment paper leak case. The raids targeted premises linked to key accused, including alleged middleman Muna Mohanty and PanchSoft Technologies' Shankar Prusty, who were named in a CBI charge sheet. The recruitment examination was cancelled last year after question papers were leaked, with an organized syndicate allegedly charging aspirants between ₹20 lakh and ₹25 lakh for the papers.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने ओडिशा पुलिस सब-इंस्पेक्टर भर्ती पेपर लीक मामले की मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच के तहत शुक्रवार को ओडिशा में नौ स्थानों पर तलाशी ली। छापे सीबीआई की चार्जशीट में नामजद कथित बिचौलिए मुन्ना मोहंती और पंचसॉफ्ट टेक्नोलॉजीज के शंकर प्रुस्टी सहित मुख्य आरोपियों से जुड़े ठिकानों पर मारे गए। पिछले साल प्रश्नपत्र लीक होने के बाद भर्ती परीक्षा रद्द कर दी गई थी, जिसमें कथित तौर पर एक संगठित सिंडिकेट अभ्यर्थियों से प्रश्नपत्रों के लिए ₹20 लाख से ₹25 लाख तक वसूल रहा था।
