Stevie Wonder Sues Ex-Fiancée To Evict Her From Rent-Free LA Home

Music legend Stevie Wonder has filed a lawsuit to evict his former fiancée, Carmen Efferson, from a Los Angeles property she has occupied rent-free since 1988. Wonder's legal team claims Efferson denied access for a mandatory insurance inspection, jeopardizing coverage. A notice to vacate was issued in July, but Efferson remained past the August 27 deadline. Wonder is seeking an eviction order, damages, and attorney fees. The dispute has also involved accusations of racism from Efferson towards one of Wonder's attorneys.
