Whirlpool India Not Part of Parent's Stake Sale

Whirlpool of India has stated it is not involved in negotiations its parent, Whirlpool Corporation, is conducting with potential buyers for its stake. The parent company's intent to reduce its shareholding has been public since January 2025. Whirlpool India has been informed of the ongoing discussions, including the sale of approximately 11% of its shareholding in 2025. The promoter, Whirlpool Mauritius Ltd., holds a significant stake and is exploring a control transaction with multiple parties.
