DU Graduate Killed in Delhi as DTC Bus Hits Her Uber Bike Taxi

A 22-year-old IGNOU sociology student, Hrishita Lahon, died after the Uber bike taxi she was riding was hit by a DTC bus near Ashram Flyover in Delhi. Lahon, a graduate of Delhi University's Maitreyi College, had moved to the city for her studies and internship, which she began about 20 days prior. The bike taxi rider was also injured in the accident. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred around 10 am, and have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

दिल्ली में आश्रम फ्लाईओवर के पास एक डीटीसी बस ने उबर बाइक टैक्सी को टक्कर मार दी, जिसमें 22 वर्षीय इग्नू की समाजशास्त्र की छात्रा हृषिता लाहोन की मौत हो गई। लाहोन दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के मैत्रेयी कॉलेज की ग्रेजुएट थीं और अपनी पढ़ाई और इंटर्नशिप के लिए करीब 20 दिन पहले ही शहर आई थीं। इस हादसे में बाइक टैक्सी चालक भी घायल हो गया। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और भारतीय न्याय संहिता की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। यह घटना सुबह करीब 10 बजे हुई।
