A 37-year-old private company employee died by suicide at his home in Kanpur's Rawatpur village on Sunday night. Police suspect family tension as the preliminary cause, noting the man had been distressed over separation from his children. He reportedly slit a vein and later hanged himself after his mother briefly left the room. His wife had moved to Delhi with their two children about two years ago due to frequent quarrels over his alcohol addiction. Police have collected evidence and are awaiting a family complaint for further action.

रविवार रात कानपुर के रावतपुर गांव में अपने घर पर एक 37 वर्षीय प्राइवेट कंपनी कर्मचारी ने आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस शुरुआती वजह पारिवारिक तनाव बता रही है, उनका कहना है कि व्यक्ति अपने बच्चों से बिछड़ने से परेशान था। बताया जा रहा है कि उसकी माँ के कमरे से थोड़ी देर के लिए बाहर जाते ही उसने नस काटी और बाद में पंखे से लटक गया। शराब की लत को लेकर लगातार झगड़े के कारण उसकी पत्नी करीब दो साल पहले अपने दो बच्चों के साथ दिल्ली चली गई थी। पुलिस ने सबूत इकट्ठा कर लिए हैं और आगे की कार्रवाई के लिए परिवार की शिकायत का इंतजार कर रही है।
