Delhi Security Tightened, Internet Suspended, Metro Affected Due To Jantar Mantar Protest

Delhi Police have implemented unprecedented security measures and denied permission for a proposed protest by CJP at Jantar Mantar. Section 144 has been imposed in areas around Jantar Mantar, and internet services suspended within a 4-kilometer radius due to security concerns. Over 38,000 security personnel are deployed across the capital, with barricades and BSF jawans stationed at Delhi's borders. Public transport, including over 250 cancelled trains, has been significantly disrupted by the security arrangements and potential demonstrations.
