The UN human rights chief has criticized Israel's actions in clearing rubble in Gaza, stating there is "no respect for the dead" buried beneath. "Extensive" remains of entire families, including women and children, have been unearthed, raising concerns about the destruction of evidence of war crimes. Israel's operations have generated approximately 61 million tonnes of debris, with an estimated seven years needed for clearance.
