Noida Residents Alert: Delhi Entry Ban for Non-BS6 Vehicles

Delhi will ban entry for non-BS6 registered vehicles from other states between and to combat winter air pollution. This restriction impacts over 1.5 lakh daily commuters from Noida and Greater Noida. Vehicles registered outside Delhi with BS-4 or lower emission standards, including commercial goods and passenger vehicles, will be prohibited. Non-BS6 private two and four-wheelers are also included. Exemptions apply to BS6 petrol/diesel, CNG, LNG, and electric vehicles. Violators face penalties, including challans.

दिल्ली में सर्दियों के दौरान वायु प्रदूषण से निपटने के लिए दूसरे राज्यों के गैर-BS6 रजिस्टर्ड वाहनों की एंट्री पर रोक लगाई जाएगी। इस पाबंदी से नोएडा और ग्रेटर नोएडा के 1.5 लाख से ज़्यादा रोज़ाना आने-जाने वाले लोगों पर असर पड़ेगा। दिल्ली के बाहर रजिस्टर्ड BS-4 या उससे कम एमिशन स्टैंडर्ड वाले वाहन, जिनमें कमर्शियल गुड्स और पैसेंजर गाड़ियां शामिल हैं, प्रतिबंधित रहेंगे। नॉन-BS6 प्राइवेट टू-व्हीलर और फोर-व्हीलर भी इसमें शामिल हैं। BS6 पेट्रोल/डीज़ल, CNG, LNG और इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को छूट मिलेगी। नियम तोड़ने वालों पर जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा, जिसमें चालान भी शामिल है।
