Chittoor SP Advises Calm on Frozen Bank Accounts

Chittoor Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi has urged the public to remain calm if their bank accounts are frozen and to first verify the reasons. Accounts can be frozen due to cybercrime probes, legal directives, or regulatory issues, even if the account holder is not directly involved. Affected individuals should contact their bank for details and then the investigating officer with supporting documents. The SP also warned against fraudsters and advised against lending accounts or sharing OTPs, directing people to report fraud to 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.

चित्तूर के पुलिस अधीक्षक तुषार दुडी ने जनता से आग्रह किया है कि यदि उनके बैंक खाते फ्रीज हो जाते हैं तो वे शांत रहें और पहले कारणों का सत्यापन करें। साइबर अपराध की जांच, कानूनी निर्देशों या नियामक मुद्दों के कारण खाते फ्रीज किए जा सकते हैं, भले ही खाताधारक सीधे तौर पर शामिल न हो। प्रभावित व्यक्तियों को विवरण के लिए अपने बैंक से संपर्क करना चाहिए और फिर सहायक दस्तावेजों के साथ जांच अधिकारी से मिलना चाहिए। एसपी ने धोखेबाजों के खिलाफ चेतावनी भी दी और खाते उधार देने या ओटीपी साझा करने के खिलाफ सलाह दी, लोगों को 1930 या cybercrime.gov.in पर धोखाधड़ी की रिपोर्ट करने का निर्देश दिया।
