Sportstar · sports
A significant power struggle has erupted within the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) following a no-confidence motion moved against its president, Ajay Singh. BFI secretary general Pramod Kumar initiated the move, citing a breakdown of trust and governance collapse, and convened a special general meeting. However, BFI chief executive officer Col. (retd.) Arun Malik has declared the motion illegal and unconstitutional, stating that only the president has the authority to call such meetings. This internal conflict surfaces shortly after Indian boxers achieved success at the Asian Games.
