Ukraine: Preparations Underway For Oleshky Evacuation After Ceasefire

Preparations are underway to evacuate residents from the Russian-occupied Ukrainian town of Oleshky, following a temporary ceasefire brokered by Melania Trump that took effect on October 27. Residents have been cut off since Russia's occupation in 2022 and the flooding from the Kakhovka dam destruction in 2023, with mined access routes and severe shortages of food, medicine, electricity, and water. The Save Ukraine Foundation has rescued at least 300 civilians in the past six months.
