Milk prices in Bengaluru are set to increase by ₹8 per litre from November 1, prompting hotels and condiment stores to announce a ₹5 hike in tea and coffee prices. Hotel associations also indicated that the cost of milk-based desserts will rise due to this significant increase. This marks the largest single-day milk price hike in history, with previous increases being ₹4 in April and ₹2 in June. While some businesses will pass on costs, others are absorbing them to remain competitive.

बेंगलुरु में 1 नवंबर से दूध के दाम ₹8 प्रति लीटर बढ़ जाएंगे। इससे होटल और चाय-कॉफी की दुकानें भी ₹5 तक दाम बढ़ाएंगी। होटल एसोसिएशन ने बताया कि दूध से बनी मिठाइयों के दाम भी बढ़ेंगे। यह दूध की कीमतों में अब तक की सबसे बड़ी एक दिन की बढ़ोतरी है। अप्रैल में ₹4 और जून में ₹2 की बढ़ोतरी हुई थी। कुछ बिज़नेस दाम बढ़ाएंगे, लेकिन कुछ कॉम्पिटिशन में बने रहने के लिए खुद दाम नहीं बढ़ाएंगे।
