A government school principal and his wife were found hacked to death on the campus of a private school they founded in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur district. Police are investigating potential links to a teachers' union election and a family land dispute. The victims, Mukesh Singh, 45, and Vinita Singh, 43, were attacked with sharp weapons. A blood-stained spade, axe, and knife were recovered from the scene. The couple's son has arrived from Delhi after being informed of the killings.
