The clerk denies the allegation, stating the money was for affidavit formalities, not a bribe. The Sub-Divisional Officer has ordered an investigation and promised strict action if guilt is established.

सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद हजारीबाग के बरही सब-डिविजनल ऑफिस में कथित रिश्वतखोरी की आधिकारिक जांच शुरू हो गई है। फुटेज में कथित तौर पर एक क्लर्क को स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) प्रक्रिया के तहत वोटर डिटेल्स में सुधार के संबंध में पैसे लेते हुए दिखाया गया है। क्लर्क ने आरोप से इनकार किया है और कहा है कि पैसे एफिडेविट की औपचारिकता के लिए थे, रिश्वत के लिए नहीं। सब-डिविजनल ऑफिसर ने जांच का आदेश दिया है और दोषी पाए जाने पर कड़ी कार्रवाई का वादा किया है।
