Times of India · sports

Florida Panthers defenseman Radko Gudas' hit on Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen during an October 25 NHL game has ignited fresh discussion. Replays suggested Gudas' elbow made contact with Teravainen's jaw, leading to frustration from the Blackhawks player and debate over the officials' decision not to call a penalty. The incident, which occurred late in the second period, saw Teravainen lose his helmet and appear slow to get up. This play has renewed scrutiny on how high contact is judged in physical NHL games.
