India recorded the second-highest successful run chase in One Day International history by defeating the West Indies in Guwahati. Skipper Shubman Gill led the charge with an unbeaten 223 runs off 133 balls, guiding his team to chase down a target of 406 within 44 overs. This remarkable achievement makes India only the second team, after South Africa, to successfully chase a score exceeding 400 runs in ODIs. South Africa still holds the record for the highest successful chase, set in 2006.
