Couple Divorces, Remarries, Divorces Again; Wife Loses Assets

A Washington couple divorced in 2021, remarried in 2022, and separated again eight months later. Their initial divorce settlement had awarded the wife half of several bank and stock assets, but most remained in the husband's name. A subsequent property agreement and arbitration decision, upheld by the Washington Court of Appeals on November 3, left her without these assets. The court affirmed the arbitration award favouring the husband and rejected the wife's attempt to challenge the decision, also awarding the husband attorney fees for the appeal.
