The Lohgarh link minor in Sirsa district has breached twice in just eight days, causing significant flooding of paddy fields. Farmers at the canal's tail end are also complaining about insufficient irrigation water. Despite repeated complaints, the issue remains unresolved, leading to waterlogged fields for some and a lack of water for others. An irrigation department official cited the channel's poor condition and aging lining as reasons for the breaches, stating that repairs have been completed and water flow resumed.

सिरसा जिले में लोहगढ़ लिंक माइनर सिर्फ आठ दिनों में दूसरी बार टूट गया है, जिससे धान के खेतों में काफी पानी भर गया है। नहर के आखिरी छोर के किसान भी सिंचाई के लिए पर्याप्त पानी न मिलने की शिकायत कर रहे हैं। बार-बार शिकायत के बावजूद, समस्या का समाधान नहीं हुआ है, जिससे कुछ के खेत जलमग्न हो गए हैं और दूसरों को पानी की कमी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। सिंचाई विभाग के एक अधिकारी ने टूटने के कारणों के रूप में नहर की खराब स्थिति और पुरानी लाइनिंग को बताया, और कहा कि मरम्मत पूरी हो गई है और पानी का प्रवाह फिर से शुरू हो गया है।
