Ancient Warhorse Given Honorific Burial Discovered

Archaeologists in Egypt have unearthed the remains of a young male warhorse, believed to be over 3,000 years old, which received an honorific burial. The discovery was made at Tell Al-Abqain in the Nile Delta, a site established during the New Kingdom to defend against Libyan tribes. The horse's careful interment suggests it was highly valued. Findings at the site also include residential complexes, grain silos, pottery ovens, and chariot harness fragments.

मिस्र में पुरातत्वविदों को 3,000 साल से भी पुराना एक युवा नर युद्ध-घोड़ा मिला है, जिसे सम्मानपूर्वक दफनाया गया था। यह खोज नील डेल्टा के टेल अल-अबक़ैन में हुई, जो लिबियाई जनजातियों से बचाव के लिए न्यू किंगडम के दौरान स्थापित किया गया था। घोड़े को सावधानी से दफनाने से पता चलता है कि वह बहुत कीमती था। इस जगह पर आवासीय परिसर, अनाज भंडार, मिट्टी के बर्तन बनाने की भट्ठियां और रथ के साज-सामान के टुकड़े भी मिले हैं।
