Butcher Kills Friend, Dismembers Body Over Money

A butcher in Vijayawada allegedly slit his friend Kalyani's throat following a dispute over money and then dismembered her body into nine pieces. The remains were reportedly dumped in a canal by the accused, Shafi, with the help of his employee, Guruvulu. Kalyani was identified by her relatives after her unidentified body was found. Police have detained both suspects and are investigating the motive and details of the crime. The case was solved with media assistance in circulating information about the body.
