This coordinated effort aims to combat soaring global energy prices, which have been exacerbated by conflicts including the war in Ukraine and tensions involving Iran. The release will include a substantial diesel supply within the first 20 days. The G7 also plans to coordinate refinery maintenance and increase utilization rates to further stabilize the market.
