Vimal Elaichi Ad Case: Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff Respond to FDA Notices

Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe confirmed that actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff have responded to notices regarding their Vimal Elaichi advertisement. Two of the actors requested and have since had hearings with the FDA. The regulator issued the notices over allegations that the advertisement was surrogate advertising for Vimal Pan Masala, which is banned in the state. The FDA is pursuing the matter further, citing the Food Safety and Standards Act.

महाराष्ट्र FDA कमिश्नर तुकाराम मुंडे ने पुष्टि की है कि अभिनेता शाहरुख खान, अजय देवगन और टाइगर श्रॉफ ने विमल इलायची विज्ञापन के संबंध में नोटिस का जवाब दिया है। दो अभिनेताओं ने FDA से सुनवाई का अनुरोध किया था और उनकी सुनवाई हो चुकी है। नियामक ने यह नोटिस इस आरोप पर जारी किया था कि विज्ञापन राज्य में प्रतिबंधित विमल पान मसाला के लिए सरोगेट विज्ञापन था। FDA खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक अधिनियम का हवाला देते हुए मामले को आगे बढ़ा रहा है।
