The upcoming Bihar Legislative Council elections have exposed a rift between Mahagathbandhan allies Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress. The Congress announced five candidates for eight seats, while the RJD had previously named candidates for six. Both parties will now contest against each other in four seats, with RJD and Congress leaders calling it a "friendly fight."
