Pune Court Grants Bail To Man Accused In Attack On YouTuber

A Pune sessions court has granted bail to Rahul Sitaram Waghmare, who is accused of attacking YouTube influencer Atharv Jagtap with a koyta on August 15. The court observed that the nature of the injuries, including a small laceration and trauma to the back, did not prima facie establish an intention to kill. Waghmare was involved in an alleged group assault outside a restaurant.

पुणे की एक सेशन कोर्ट ने राहुल सीताराम वाघमारे को जमानत दे दी है, जिस पर 15 अगस्त को यूट्यूबर अथर्व जगताप पर कोयते से हमला करने का आरोप है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि चोटों की प्रकृति, जिसमें एक छोटा सा घाव और पीठ पर चोट शामिल है, पहली नज़र में मारने के इरादे को साबित नहीं करती है। वाघमारे पर एक रेस्टोरेंट के बाहर कथित तौर पर समूह में हमला करने का आरोप है।
