Mandeep Bhandari Appointed New CBSE Chairman

Mandeep Bhandari, a 2001 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new CBSE. This marks the third change in leadership at the board within the last four months. Bhandari previously served as the Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. His appointment comes amid recent controversies surrounding the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for digital evaluation of answer sheets. The government has upgraded the post to the rank and pay scale of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

मंदीप भंडारी बने नए सीबीएसई चेयरमैन

बैच के IAS अधिकारी मंदीप भंडारी को नया CBSE चेयरमैन बनाया गया है। पिछले चार महीनों में यह बोर्ड में तीसरा बड़ा बदलाव है। भंडारी इससे पहले जम्मू-कश्मीर के लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर के प्रिंसिपल सेक्रेटरी रह चुके हैं। यह नियुक्ति हाल ही में ऑन-स्क्रीन मार्किंग (OSM) सिस्टम को लेकर हुए विवादों के बीच हुई है। सरकार ने उनके पद को भारत सरकार के अतिरिक्त सचिव के बराबर कर दिया है।
