TV9 Hindi · education
A parliamentary committee has recommended significant reforms for the NTA following recent controversies. Key suggestions include gradually shifting the NEET-UG medical entrance exam to a computer-based test (CBT) format and establishing 1,000 secure government examination centers. The report also proposes setting age and attempt limits for candidates, addressing concerns about older individuals appearing for the exam. Additionally, it calls for creating a continuously updated question bank and a national register of blacklisted exam vendors to prevent paper leaks and enhance exam integrity.
