सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि 20 जुलाई को CJP के नेतृत्व में संसद की ओर मार्च के दौरान हुई हिंसा की किसी भी जांच का कोई मतलब नहीं है जब तक कि जिम्मेदारी तय न हो। राजधानी दिल्ली में प्रदर्शन हिंसक हो गए थे, जिसके चलते पुलिस को आंसू गैस और लाठीचार्ज का इस्तेमाल करना पड़ा। प्रदर्शनकारियों को तितर-बितर करने के बाद झड़पें और गिरफ्तारियां हुईं। कोर्ट का यह रुख जांच में जवाबदेही की जरूरत पर जोर देता है।
