Union Minister Nadda Lays Foundation Stone For High-Altitude Research Centre

Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda performed the bhumi pujan and laid the foundation stone for the ICMR’s Centre for High Altitude Medicine and Public Health Research in Keylong, Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. The centre aims to understand the health implications of low oxygen, extreme cold, and changing climate conditions. Collaboration between ICMR and Armed Forces Medical Services, with participation from AIIMS Bilaspur, will support research into region-specific health challenges.

केंद्रीय मंत्री नड्डा ने हाई-एल्टीट्यूड रिसर्च सेंटर की रखी आधारशिला स्वास्थ्य संबंधी चुनौतियों पर होगा शोध

केंद्रीय मंत्री जगत प्रकाश नड्डा ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के कीलोंग, लाहौल और स्पीति में ICMR के सेंटर फॉर हाई एल्टीट्यूड मेडिसिन एंड पब्लिक हेल्थ रिसर्च का भूमि पूजन और शिलान्यास किया। इस केंद्र का उद्देश्य कम ऑक्सीजन, अत्यधिक ठंड और बदलते जलवायु की स्थिति के स्वास्थ्य प्रभावों को समझना है। ICMR और आर्म्ड फोर्सेज मेडिकल सर्विसेज के बीच सहयोग, जिसमें AIIMS बिलासपुर की भागीदारी होगी, क्षेत्र-विशिष्ट स्वास्थ्य चुनौतियों पर शोध में सहायता करेगा।
