136 Trekkers Stranded in Uttarakhand High-Altitude Routes

A total of 136 trekkers, mountaineers, and support staff are currently stranded on various high-altitude trekking routes in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district. The group comprises 130 Indians and six foreign nationals. Following an improvement in weather, a helicopter rescue operation was launched for 46 individuals at Kalindi Pass and Auden's Col. Meanwhile, a specialized SDRF team is conducting rescue operations on the Kalindi Trek, successfully rescuing five people so far. The District Disaster Management Department continues to monitor the situation and deploy resources.

उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी जिले में ऊंचे पहाड़ी रास्तों पर कुल 136 ट्रेकर, पर्वतारोही और सहायक कर्मचारी फंसे हुए हैं। इस समूह में 130 भारतीय और छह विदेशी नागरिक शामिल हैं। मौसम में सुधार के बाद, कालिंदी पास और ऑडेंस कोल में 46 लोगों के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर बचाव अभियान शुरू किया गया। वहीं, SDRF की एक विशेष टीम कालिंदी ट्रेक पर बचाव अभियान चला रही है, जिसने अब तक पांच लोगों को सफलतापूर्वक बचाया है। जिला आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग स्थिति की लगातार निगरानी कर रहा है और संसाधन तैनात कर रहा है।
