Uttar Pradesh Tourism Growth Driven By Safety and Connectivity, Says Official

Uttar Pradesh's tourism sector and economy are experiencing significant growth, driven by enhanced safety and connectivity measures, according to additional chief secretary Amrit Abhijat. Tourist arrivals surged from 320 million in 2022 to 1.56 billion in 2025, with over Rs 10,788 crore invested in tourism infrastructure. The state also attracted Rs 44,000 crore in investments under its tourism policy, creating approximately five lakh jobs.
