Shanghumugham Beach Gallery Set To Open By November-End

The much-delayed wave-proof gallery at Thiruvananthapuram's Shanghumugham beach is expected to open by the end of November. Remaining construction work, including drainage and tile-laying, is anticipated to be completed within a month. The project, part of a Rs 14-crore coastal protection initiative, faced delays due to objections near the Arattu Mandapam and interruptions during work. Its reopening aims to restore public access to the popular recreational spot, which has been largely inaccessible during restoration.
