He stated that the coalition's return is a certainty and that the current administration will face consequences for its actions. Kumaraswamy also asserted that he never misused power during his previous tenure. He further discussed submitting a petition for an investigation into an alleged sting operation, expressing dissatisfaction with the lack of progress.

केंद्रीय भारी उद्योग और इस्पात मंत्री एच.डी. कुमारस्वामी ने पूरा भरोसा जताया कि 2028 के चुनावों में जद(एस)-भाजपा गठबंधन सरकार फिर से सत्ता में आएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि गठबंधन की वापसी निश्चित है और मौजूदा सरकार को अपने कामों का अंजाम भुगतना पड़ेगा। कुमारस्वामी ने यह भी दावा किया कि उन्होंने अपने पिछले कार्यकाल में कभी भी सत्ता का दुरुपयोग नहीं किया। उन्होंने एक कथित स्टिंग ऑपरेशन की जांच के लिए याचिका दायर करने पर भी चर्चा की और प्रगति की कमी पर असंतोष व्यक्त किया।
