Tamil Nadu to Establish 26 POCSO and 4 NDPS Courts

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has ordered the establishment of 26 new courts under the POCSO Act and four under the NDPS Act to expedite trials. This decision aims to ensure justice for victims by speeding up legal proceedings for cases registered under these sensitive laws. The government will establish 12 special courts and 14 additional courts for POCSO cases at a cost of ₹46.59 crore.

तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम.के. स्टालिन ने POCSO एक्ट के तहत 26 और NDPS एक्ट के तहत 4 नए कोर्ट स्थापित करने का आदेश दिया है ताकि मुकदमों में तेजी लाई जा सके। इस फैसले का मकसद इन संवेदनशील कानूनों के तहत दर्ज मामलों की कानूनी कार्यवाही को तेज करके पीड़ितों को न्याय सुनिश्चित करना है। सरकार 46.59 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से POCSO मामलों के लिए 12 विशेष अदालतें और 14 अतिरिक्त अदालतें स्थापित करेगी।
