Canada has removed a record number of Indian nationals this year, with over 4,500 individuals removed by September 30. This figure represents more than 27% of the total enforced removals, marking the first time since 2020 that Indians have been the largest country cohort for removals. Previously, Mexicans had accounted for the highest numbers in recent years. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) stated that removing individuals without the right to stay is essential for maintaining immigration program integrity and fairness.
