GIFT Nifty Hits $23 Billion Daily Turnover Record

GIFT Nifty has achieved a new trading milestone, recording its highest-ever single-day turnover of $23.67 billion on September 25. The platform also reached its highest open interest at $21.87 billion, equivalent to approximately Rs 2.10 lakh crore. Since its full-scale launch in July 2023, GIFT Nifty has seen exponential growth in trading activity. This expansion is supported by regulatory exemptions allowing US customer participation, marking a significant development for international trading on the platform.
