The wife of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota has stated that the demolition of a medical store has destroyed crucial evidence in his case. Manpreet Kaur clarified that the family has not consented to a post-mortem, despite reports suggesting otherwise. Meanwhile, a state government-formed panel has suspended Mansa DSP Harjinder Singh Gill and drug inspector Neeraj Kumar. This action follows the earlier suspension of a police station SHO. The government panel is reportedly considering 12 of the 14 demands made by an action committee.
