Dasara Festivities Conclude With Goddess Kanaka Durga's Celestial Boat Ride

Vijayawada celebrated the conclusion of its annual Dasara festivities with the traditional Teppotsavam, a celestial boat ride for Goddess Kanaka Durga and her consort. The illuminated Hamsa Vahanam, shaped like a swan, carried the deities on the Krishna River, drawing thousands of devotees. This year's ceremony was conducted as per tradition after being curtailed in previous years due to floodwaters. Elaborate arrangements were made for devotee safety and smooth darshan throughout the nine-day festival, which also saw a surge in Bhavani devotees.

विजयवाड़ा में देवी कनका दुर्गा और उनके स्वामी के पारंपरिक तेप्पोट्सवम, एक दिव्य नौका विहार के साथ वार्षिक दशहरा उत्सव का समापन मनाया गया। हंस वाहनम के आकार में बने रोशन हंसा वाहनम ने कृष्णा नदी पर देवताओं को ले जाया, जिससे हजारों भक्त आकर्षित हुए। पिछले वर्षों में बाढ़ के पानी के कारण कटौती के बाद इस वर्ष की रस्म परंपरा के अनुसार आयोजित की गई थी। नौ दिवसीय उत्सव के दौरान भक्तों की सुरक्षा और सुचारू दर्शन के लिए विस्तृत व्यवस्था की गई थी, जिसमें भवानी भक्तों की संख्या में भी वृद्धि देखी गई।
